The Brotherhood Open

Every great club has its origin story. This is ours.

The Social Swingers are officially open for business, and to mark the occasion we're doing what any self-respecting group of blokes would do — arguing about handicaps across two days and two courses while pretending we're not absolutely cooked after day one.

Day one takes us to The Grange Golf Club. Yes, that Grange. The one that hosts LIV Golf. The one where actual professionals have played. We'll be doing our best to honour that legacy, and almost certainly failing.

Day two we dust ourselves off and head down to Mount Compass Golf Course for the final round. Whatever state you're in, you're playing.

It's Stableford, so even a disaster of a hole only costs you a couple of points. Add 'em up across both days and the bloke with the most points wins — along with the eternal glory of being the first-ever Brotherhood Open champion.

Losers buy the first round. That's not an official rule. But it should be.

• Format: Stableford — best aggregate over two rounds
• Round 1: The Grange Golf Club (yes, the fancy one)
• Round 2: Mount Compass Golf Course (no excuses)
